Join Dive Connections for an epic long weekend exploring the legendary wrecks off North Carolina’s Crystal Coast — home to the world-famous “Graveyard of the Atlantic.”Just beyond the shoreline, history comes alive beneath the waves. WWII wrecks, towering structures, and artificial reefs create one of the most exciting underwater environments in North America. Fueled by warm Gulf Stream currents, these wrecks are covered in life and regularly visited by massive schools of fish, sea turtles, rays, eels, octopus, and the incredible sand tiger sharks that make North Carolina famous.
This adventure is designed for divers who want more than a typical reef dive. It’s for divers ready to descend onto historic wrecks, experience thrilling offshore conditions, and encounter marine life unlike anywhere else in the United States.
We’ll spend the weekend diving aboard the MV Midnight Express with Olympus Dive Center — one of North Carolina’s premier dive operations with direct access to many of the region’s most iconic wreck sites.
After a full day on the water, unwind at the stylish Bask Hotel at Big Rock Landing, located on the waterfront in the heart of Morehead City.
