About this Event
We'll spend the morning putting new trees in the ground along the trail at 43rd St S, giving the canopy (and future trick-or-treaters) something to be thankful for! No experience necessary, our team will walk you through every step of the planting process.
After the trees are planted, join us at Trailhead Park for a community celebration featuring trick or treating! Our partner organizations will be joining us to hand out treats and teach the community about what they do!
Come for an hour or stay for the whole event; every tree planted and connection made makes a difference.

- Time: 11:00 AM–1:00 PM
- Location: Pinellas Trail at 43rd St S, St. Petersburg
- Check-in: MAR tent
Trick or Treating Details
- Time: 12:00PM-2:00PM
- Location: Trailhead Park 3800 Fairfield Ave. S. St. Petersburg
What to Bring
- Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes
- Reusable water bottle
- Sunscreen and hat
- Work gloves, if you have a favorite pair (we will provide them as well!)
- Costumes encouraged!
Planting supplies are provided. No ticket to print - just show up and check in with our team!
Volunteers ages 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
No costumes with masks or weapons will be allowed.
Weather Policy In the event of severe weather, registered volunteers will be notified by email if the planting is canceled or rescheduled.
