Make Halloween weekend a little more creative at Arts Bonita!Join us before The Addams Family Younger@Part® for a special family-friendly Trick-or-Treat pre-show event featuring Halloween crafts, candy, costumes, and plenty of seasonal fun.
Trick-or-Treat Pre-Show Event
Before the performance, young guests can visit several Halloween-inspired craft stations led by Arts Bonita instructors.
At each station, participants can complete a quick visual arts project and receive 1–2 pieces of candy when they finish.
There will be 3–4 craft stations, giving kids the opportunity to create, explore, and collect a few treats along the way.
Come in Costume!
During the final portion of the pre-show event, we’ll hold a costume contest with prizes. So come dressed as your favorite character, creature, monster, superhero, or something completely original.
Then Take Your Seats for The Addams Family!
Following the Halloween festivities, enjoy a special performance of The Addams Family Younger@Part®.
Wednesday Addams has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a very “normal” family. When she asks Gomez to keep the relationship a secret from Morticia, one unforgettable family dinner sets off a hilarious chain of events filled with secrets, surprises, and plenty of Addams Family weirdness.
This 30-minute youth edition of the Broadway musical is performed by students ages 8–13 who participated in Arts Bonita’s seven-week musical theatre class.
Throughout the session, the students developed their skills in acting, singing, dancing, character work, and ensemble performance while rehearsing the production. The show is their opportunity to bring everything they’ve learned to the stage for a live audience.
