Join us for the annual Tri-State Warrior Run/Walk, 2nd Annual Bob Scott Kids Fun Run, 5k, 10k & HALF MARATHON! Come join us for this wonderful family event that benefits the Tri-State Warrior Outreach, supporting unmet needs of area Veterans and their families since 2012.
The 1 Mile Walk, 5k , 10k and Half Marathon start and end on the historic grounds of the IL Veterans Home, built in 1886. Participants will see extraordinary architecture, peaceful woods, the Deer Park, US Military memorials and go past the inspirational Avenue of Flags. The 5k, 10K and Half Marathon challenges runners along hills through Sunset Cemetery and the Medal of Honor Memorial then to the end of the Cedar Creek Trail before looping back around the IL Veteran's Home grounds to finish back at the Start/Finish line behind the Administration building. Our traditional dog tag-style medals are given to all event finishers.
