Tresor, the Cornish word for treasure, returns to Cornwall Museum and Art gallery for it's second year, hosted by ACJ Cornwall, the local branch of the prestigious Association for Contemporary Jewellery.Taking place among the Museum exhibits, TRESOR brings together an exceptional selection of contemporary jewellers, inspired by the evocative theme of Myths & Legends.
The fair celebrates the craftsmanship of 32 of Cornwall’s
talented jewellers, working in a variety of materials and different stages of their careers, carefully selected to showcase original contemporary jewellery.
This year we can share an exciting collaboration with Kernowcraft: jewellers have been challenged to make a special mythological piece of jewellery with a local Lizard serpentine stone donated by the local jewellery supplies company, Kernowcarft.
Look out for affordable taster jewellery-making workshops taught by experienced jewellers (must be booked in advance) and our private view drinks party on Friday 23rd October...
Entry is free with a Cornwall Museum annual pass; pass costs £10, u18s are free.
