This is the last Walk in the series of 23 Coronation Walks that we set out to do this year. Meet up in the large Car Park off Beveley Road into the Telford Millennium Nature Reserve. Its just past Jenko's BBQ /The Compassess Inn The car park location on What3Words App is https://what3words.com/overtones.crisis.venue
We will then walk through to the railway underpass, led by Anne, to join the Trench Walk as the car park by Middle Pool is too small for us. This makes the walk about 4 miles long.
There should be plenty of waterfowl and wildlife to see around Middle Pool and Trench Pool. Bring duck food to feed them if you want. Highlights of the walk are the old site of the Trench Incline Plane which moved tub boats up and down from the Shrewsbury Canal, the famous Blue Pig Pub and the busy Trench Lock Interchange. At the end of the walk The Compasses Pub will be open for refreshments to celebrate the end of the Telford Coronation Walks this year. All Walks at your own risk.
