Overview:
Ratangad is a trendy place for trekking in Maharashtra and also one of the famous Bhandardara tourist places. The fort is located at a height of 4250 feet. Ratangad Fort is 400 year old fort, which was used by Maratha warrior Shivaji Maharaj. The fort has four gates known as Ganesh, Hanuman, Konkan, and Trimbak.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
09:00 PM: Pickup from JW Marriot hotel Sb Road Pune
09:15 PM: Bremen Chowk,Aundh
09.30 PM: Pickup from Nasik phata
Day 2:
04.00 AM: Reach the base village Ratanwadi
06:00 AM: Breakfast and start your trek to Ratangad
07.00 AM: Reach and explore the fort watch the magical flowering on the top
11.00 AM: Start your descent down
02:00 PM: Reach base village and have lunch
03:30 PM: Leave for Pune
08:00 PM: Reach Pune
Things to Carry
Please wear full pants and full sleeves T-shirts to protect from tanning, thorns, and insects in the jungle.
Snacks(Energy bars, Chikki, biscuits, sprouts, chips, dry fruits), Glaucon D/Protein shakes, Gatorade, and ORS.
Carry an extra pair of clothes which we can change after completion of the trek.
2/3 liters water. Shortage of water is faced during treks so please carry enough water (Mandatory).
Any personal medicine and personal first aid (Mandatory).
Good grip trekking shoes (Mandatory).
One day backpack/rucksack of 30 liters (Mandatory).
Sun cap and Sunscreen Rains are expected so please carry a rain cover /Jacket and cover your phones also in a plastic cover.
Don’t bring any expensive and not-required items during treks. Trekfit won`t be responsible for any loss of phone/valuable item.
Good torch with an extra battery if you have planned a night trek.
