About this Event
Ahead of The Tree Council's #NationalTreeWeek and to mark the best time to plant new trees, come and join us this November for TreeFest - a FREE community celebration of all things tree!
You can expect all sorts: Stalls, prizes, freebies, tree expertise, crafts, activities, storytelling, performances and more!
Learn something new about trees from a number of tree-aligned local organisations, explore the activities on offer, and stay for the sharing of music, poetry and stories. There's also opportunity to write, draw or tell us about your TreeStories for the Digital Forest!
- 11am - 3pm: Stalls and Activities
- 3pm - 5pm: Transition, Quiet Activities and Rest
- 5pm - 7pm: Open Mic and Featured Performances
Community stall holders include: Hull and East Riding Friends of the Earth, Pickering Road Community Orchard, The Woodland Trust, Hull Food Partnership, Community Climate Stewards, RSPB, Butterfly City, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, East Riding Archives and Stop Burning Trees... and more!
Everyone is welcome to this tree-mendous #TreeStories event - including dogs (especially your dogs...) - so pop-in and say hello.
Open Mic: there will be some walk-up slots available, but to guarentee your 5-10min slot please email [email protected] by Thurs 5 Nov.
Please help spread the word, and we look forwards to seeing you soon!
Note: You do not need a ticket to gain entry, just turn up! But feel free to book a ticket on Eventbrite to help with reminders. We also have the Event listed on Facebook, for more regular updates and reminder features.
