Some things take time — and for Treeboy & Arc, that meant stepping back to evolve. After recognising they were falling into familiar habits, the band set out to rethink their songwriting, determined not to repeat themselves on their second album. The result is Goose, their most refined and fully realised work to date.
Leaner and more intentional, the record strips things back to focus on space, texture and repetition. Drawing on electronic and industrial influences, synthesisers take a leading role, while guitars are used with precision. Known for their ferocious live shows and tours with Bodega, Crows and Ditz, Treeboy & Arc continue to push forward with clarity and purpose.
