Tree Seed Saving & Growing Workshop

Our Native Glens will be holding another tree seed saving and growing workshop this October. Meeting at the Castle Car Park, Manorhamilton at 10 am we will head to some local woods to collect tree seeds, nuts and berries of whichever native tree species we find (Likely to be able to collect Hawthorn, Blackthorn, Hazel, Rowan, Elder, Guelder Rose and Oak).

We will then head to The Organic Centre to process the tree seeds and plant into pots. Our Native Glens will provide sandwiches, biscuits and hot drinks at lunch time. Please come prepared with wellies, or strong footwear, waterproofs your water bottle, and some gardening gloves.
