Trash People exists to facilitate community connection and contribution in Chicago. We make picking up litter SUPER FUN ;) and it's an easy way to meet your neighbors, new friends, and fellow Trash People.
Join us for our Trash People of McKinley Park END OF SEASON TRASH BASH at ONE CITY TAP (3115 S Archer Ave) to celebrate what a freakin' killer time we had this year. Everyone is welcome, whether you're a Trash Person through and through, have collaborated with us in the past, or are just interested in getting to know what we're about.
1) 5:30-7pm: Community Cleanup. Can't join for the cleanup? Just come for the party!
2) 7-9pm: Party with games, prizes, cake, a Trash People trophy give away, and some knighting with the golden grabber (TOTALLY BONKERS. WE KNOW). No registration needed for this part.
What to expect:
- Cleanup from 5:30-7pm - registration required.
- Party starts at 7pm at One City Tap (3115 S Archer Ave). Drop by when you can and we'll be going until the party feels over. Games start at 7:30pm. You'll find us by looking for a bunch of people wearing name tags (yeah, we're cool like that).
- Everyone is welcome (sorry, 21+ this time), and we hope you'll join us, especially if you haven't joined before! We are a friendly bunch and exist not only to contribute to our community, but to make new friends within it, too :)
