For Transmission 26, Brussels Black Box welcomes Rollmods, a Brussels collective dedicated to live electronic performances on hardware machines.
Bambino, Torc, Segment and Valentin Rocher will bring their setups together for a collective jam. Through deep listening, improvisation and carefully shaped interventions, they will explore what emerges when their individual musical worlds meet.
From ambient and experimental textures to hypnotic techno, acid and raw electronic grooves, expect an evolving live performance shaped in the moment.

🎛️ ROLLMODS
Rollmods is a Brussels collective dedicated to live performance on hardware machines. Focusing on practice rather than a strict genre, the collective connects artists and audiences through events spanning ambient, experimental, industrial, EBM and techno.
For Brussels Black Box, four projects will gather their forces in a collective jam, focusing on deep listening and chiseled interventions to make something greater emerge from each individual style.

🎛️ BAMBINO

🎛️ TORC
Torc is the moniker of Oscar Verlinden, face of the Underdog YouTube channel. As Torc, he explores groove and physicality within techno. Textural, mental, hypnotic.
His improvised live set consists of a tapestry of single-pulse repetitive cells, woven on a modular synth, which induce hypnosis as geometric acoustic patterns scream by overhead. He deconstructs the idea of groovy, hypnotic techno to its bare essentials, delivering a minimalist, dynamic exploration.

🎛️ SEGMENT
Segment is a Belgian experimental electronic music duo formed by Jean-François Lejeune and Mathieu Buytaers. At the intersection of sound design, field recording and
electronic instrument building, their music explores the relationships between algorithmic structures, improvisation and sonic material. Drawing on influences ranging from Autechre’s experimental electronics to acousmatic music, their live performances explore the transformation of textures, dynamics and spatialisation, moving between composed structures and improvisational developments.
🎛️ VALENTIN ROCHER
Valentin Rocher co-founded the live project Silicon Vallée in 2013, performing acid techno house sets in Belgian clubs before producing for Activities Records.
In parallel, he discovered modular synthesizers and their productive accidents, stepping into experimental and ambient music, a practice he continues through acousmatic composition.
In 2024, he launched Machine Ouverte, a label dedicated to live performance and improvisation. In 2025, he returned to solo live machine performances, revisiting acid, techno, house and electro mixes influenced by the darkness and beauty of our world on the brink of dystopia.
From these sessions emerged You Do Remember The Future, released on Activities Records.
