The Transition Academy Social Club is an inclusive program for high school students ages 14–21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism and Down syndrome. Through each 10-week module, students build friendships, explore careers, develop workplace-readiness skills, participate in community service, and visit local businesses.
Come meet our dedicated staff, receive program information, experience a mock classroom session, and learn about the activities and opportunities available through the program. Refreshments will be provided, followed by an informational session and Q&A.
The Scranton program begins Wednesday, September 16th and meets weekly (10 weeks total) from 5:30–7:30 PM.
