Join us for Transgender Day of Remembrance & Resilience 2026On behalf of the 27th Annual Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) Planning Committee, we invite you to join us in honoring the lives of transgender and gender non-conforming people lost to violence and injustice, and celebrating the existence and resilience of transgender and gender non-conforming people who are with us today.
This is a FREE event that will include a remembrance vigil, live performances, dinner, special guest speakers, storytelling, light activities and keepsakes, storytelling, resources, and a special honoring. A space of solitude and mental health providers will be available.
May every year be a new opportunity to set a higher standard for action against disproportionate violence and injustice.
Event Details: The 27th annual Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) will be commemorated on Saturday, November 21, 2026 at Broadmeadow United Methodist Church 4419 Broadmeadow St, Jackson, MS. Doors open at 5:00pm and the vigil begins at 5:30pm.
