Every year it is hard and heavy when we gather for Transgender Day of Remembrance, and in a year when we honor the lost life of a trans Mainer, we are also reminded of how deeply we need one another on this and every day. Please join us for the reading of names as well as remarks from community members representing the arts, education, mental health care, and faith communities on navigating collective grief, and stay afterward to talk about what we need in order to find hope in the darkest moments. Our 2pm 35+ support group will meet as usual, and trans and non-binary attendees to the vigil are welcome to move to the community room for the last portion of the meeting regardless of age, they will be ready to welcome you. 🏳️⚧️🕯️💜
