Trans Day of Remembrance
Dollhaus x Out North East
TDOR was founded in 1999 by trans activist Gwendolyne Ann Smith, and has since become an internationally recognised day of reflection and action. Dollhaus are partnering with OUT North East to bring a day of education, workshops and activities to honour trans history and continue to work towards a brighter future.
We will have specialists and activists discussing trans history, a film screening and workshops ran by trans creatives, and Dollhaus’ own events such as Makeup Like A Doll & Edit, as well as gender affirming hair cuts from Good Vibe Tribe, to connect trans people to often overlooked skills and services.
Join us on Trans Day of Remembrance, November 20th, at the ONE centre with OUT North East to honour our history and look towards our future.
