#RealLifeExperienceHalloween After Dark Train Ride 31 October 2026 @ £10 per person
Last week we posted that we were considering a special “After Dark” Halloween experience at the railway. Interest was high and we have decided to go ahead.
After consulting sunset charts for 31 October we have decided to hold the event from 6pm to 7pm to allow for sufficient darkness.
This is in addition to our normal Halloween Train Rides, which will run from 1-4pm on Sunday 25th October and Saturday 31st October.
The “After Dark” Real Life Experience will run between 6pm and 7pm on Saturday 31 October and is a pre booked ticket event suitable for those who do not have a nervous disposition and are mobile enough to board and alight from the train unaided
It will be strictly limited to 60 participants at £10 per person.
The route will only be lit by the signals and train lights, with special light and sound features on sections of the track.
Thew Jumping Deer Coffee van will be in attendance for refreshments.

A Health & Safety Risk Assessment will be carried out on the day to determine that weather conditions are safe.
