About this Event
Welcome to your Train to Teach in Gloucestershire information evening!
Accessible and open to everyone interested in training to teach in Gloucestershire (undergraduates, new graduates, mature graduates, career changers and anyone else interested in training to teach), this event, organised by Odyssey Teaching School Hub and Balcarras Teaching School Hub , will give you the opportunity to:
- talk to local Primary and Secondary teacher training providers, including GITEP SCITT and local universities offering training in Gloucestershire
- hear from local teacher training experts about what's involved and the opportunities available
- talk to experts about financing your training year
We have over 300 schools across all phases in Gloucestershire, making it a great place to train.
You'll also go away with a full understanding of:
- what's required to train to teach in Gloucestershire
- how the programmes differ and how each one works
- people to talk to to continue your research about teacher training
- how to finance your training
- bursaries and scholarships available to you for teacher training
