Think of it as the 3-day eventing of the western world
-Ranch pattern
-Obstacle class-10 obstacles at your own pace
-Trail- 6-8 obstacles on the trail, ride in a group!
*choose 1,2, or do all 3 to compete in the versatility buckle. Nice, big Ky state championship Ribbons to top 3 competitors in each class
$60 per versatility entry
$20 per class if not doing versatility (all 3 events)
$5 office fee
You’ll need a Ct2v membership $30- https://www.ct2v.com/membership
Classes
Buckaroo- 8 and under (obstacles only)
Foundations I (only in hand)
Foundations II- in hand obstacles but can participate under saddle as well
Youth-15 and under
Trail Blazer- 60+
Green Horn- inexperienced horse, no pros
Futurity- horses 3-5 year old, open class
Wrangler- novice
Maverick- intermediate
Bronc Buster—amateur
Trail Boss-open
Schooling- training (no buckles or ribbons)
*Cowboy Roulette class- $10 to enter, winner takes half. you won’t know what it is until you enter. All you know is it’s a speed class
