A powerful work-in-progress documentary exposing child trafficking through survivor stories, expert voices, and a call for change.About this Event
Join Blue Mosaic and community partners for a special work-in-progress viewing of Traffikid, a powerful feature documentary examining child sex trafficking through survivor experiences, expert perspectives, and the people working toward solutions.
Traffikid is intentionally being shared before its final edit. This is not the finished film. It is an opportunity for the Charlottesville community to become part of its development. Attendees will be among the first to see the film and provide feedback before the final version is completed and submitted to film festivals.
The evening begins with a 6:00 PM reception, followed by the 7:00 PM viewing. At 8:30 PM, stay for a community conversation featuring local organizations and experts working to prevent trafficking and support survivors.
Because this is a work in progress, viewers may notice elements still being completed, including color grading, sound leveling, music, graphics, and final credits. Your feedback matters and will help inform the final edit.
This is more than a film viewing. It is an opportunity to learn, listen, ask questions, connect with community resources, and help strengthen the conversation about protecting children and preventing human trafficking.
