You will explore the benefits of local medicinal herbs and traditional wellness practices and learn about the cultural wisdom behind Thai herbal healing practices.This is an interactive and practical workshop allowing each participant to create and take home an herbal compress. You will learn proper steaming and application techniques. Guided by Malee, an Integrated Tribal Development Foundation staff and member of the “Karen” hill tribe you will be supporting local knowledge in a meaningful and authentic way.
Integrated Tribal Development Foundation provides hope to the hill tribe villages of Northern Thailand through clean water, agriculture, coffee farming and women’s co-op handcrafts.
