The Girl with the Enamel Eyes
Coppélia is a charming classical ballet filled with love, jealousy, friendship, comedy and magic.
The story follows Swanilda, a lively young girl who becomes curious and jealous when she sees her fiancé, Franz, admiring a mysterious beautiful girl sitting by the window of Dr Coppélius’ workshop.
Swanilda soon discovers the truth — the mysterious girl, Coppélia, is not a real person, but a beautiful life-sized mechanical doll created by the eccentric Dr Coppélius.
With her friends, Swanilda sneaks into the workshop and discovers a magical world of dancing dolls. Confusion and comedy follow when Dr Coppélius tries to bring Coppélia to life.
In the end, the truth is revealed, Franz and Swanilda are reunited, and the village celebrates with joyful dancing and a happy wedding.
A timeless story of love, laughter and the magic of dance. 🩰✨
