We've having a Warhammer 40K Game Day that will be a charity fundraiser for the 'Toys for Tots' Christmas charity. The focus of the day will be an Apocalypse game. If you're not familiar, it's essentially a team game, with multiple players on each of two opposing teams. Each player brings an army (we'll settle on the point value soon, though it will be no more than 2000 points) and fields it on the table, along with all the other armies on their team. Special rules will apply, but we'll post more about this in the next couple of weeks. We'll also be doing a "Bitzkrieg", so you can come and buy, sell and trade model bits, and perhaps some other cool things. Again, more will follow in the next couple of weeks.
Entry to play the Apocalypse game will be $10, which will go to the annual Christmas 'Toys for Tots' charity. There will be other ways you can contribute to 'Toys for Tots' as well. For now, pencil November 15 into your calendars!
