Join Thomas Kallmeyer and Five Valleys Audubon for a New Year's Eve stroll around Maclay Flat to search for owls and other overwintering species. We'll meet in the Maclay Flat parking lot at 17:00. Sunset is at 16:47 so consider bringing a light source; walking is on level, unpaved trails that may be icy so also consider bringing traction devices.Town Bound Birding's goal is to have a good time exploring the wildlife at easy to access sites in the Missoula Valley. Knowledgeable guides will be on hand to point out the different species and answer questions. All are welcome!
