Designed for parents and carers of babies under one year old, this relaxed session provides practical guidance, reassurance, and an opportunity to connect with other local families.
We'll cover infant sleep patterns, safe sleep guidance, responsive parenting, parental wellbeing, and local support available to families.
Every baby is different, and sleep patterns can vary widely during the first year. This session helps parents understand what is developmentally normal, provides evidence-based safe sleep information, and offers practical tips to support both baby and parent wellbeing.
We'll discuss:
- Managing tiredness as a new parent
- The importance of self-care and emotional wellbeing
- Healthy habits that can support sleep and overall health
- Ways partners and family members can provide support
- Local services and organisations available for advice and guidance
