Go behind the scenes at Vegso Racing Stables in Ocala, Florida, for an immersive tour that traces the life cycle of a Thoroughbred, from foals and broodmares to horses in training and retirement. Founded by Chicken Soup for the Soul publisher Peter Vegso, the stable is well-known for producing top-quality Thoroughbreds, including three-time Virginia Derby winners and champion filly Caledonia Road. Enjoy racetrack views, feed some of the horses, and take home a goodie bag. Students will drive on their own to the tour.
