Visiting the castle is by guided tour only. We have regular tours available between 10.30am and 3.30pm, Monday to Sunday. It is not essential to book in advance but, if you would like to guarantee your space, you can book below onto the 10.30am or 3.30pm tour.
Tours are led by one of our knowledgeable guides, taking in the main rooms of the castle and covering the history of the Brodie family.
The castle houses a magnificent collection of furniture, ceramics and artwork, including works by 17th-century Dutch masters. It also boasts an impressive library containing over 6,000 volumes.

Saturday – Self-guided visits 10.30am–2pm (last entry 1.30pm) available to pre-book separately; pre-bookable guided tours at 2.30pm and 3.30pm.

Please note: due to a wedding on Saturday, 12th September, there will be limited tours available , only in the morning and no self-guided acesss available.
Accessibility
The castle is a historic building and therefore tours involve steps, staircases and uneven surfaces throughout.
Meeting point
Please arrive at the Welcome Centre at least 15 minutes in advance of your tour.
Is there parking?
Yes. There is a £5 parking charge. Members enjoy free parking, with a valid car parking sticker. If you are interested in becoming a member, please speak to one of our team or head to our Join page.
Do you offer refunds?
Please check your order during the online booking process, as mistakes cannot always be rectified. Cancellations and date changes may be possible in exceptional circumstances by contacting us in advance.
