Over the last few years Daniel and Friends Fund have been intimately (and often, personally) involved with children battling chronic illness and/or diseases and syndromes, or conditions such as cancer and brain damage to name but a few.What is Touching the Heart?
It is a project which hopes to create a platform upon which the stories of medically-fragile and/or differently abled children's journeys might be shared.
With words often doing little justice to the challenges and adversities these children and their families face on a regular basis, we could think of no more perfect way to provide the community with this unique insight than through a one of a kind photographic book which exhibits the extraordinary photographic talent of Candice Rodrigues.
The book will not only create awareness but will also become a medium through which others can get involved by either purchasing a book or selecting canvasses from the featured images which can be made and personalised to order.
The proceeds of these purchases will be utilised towards projects which are designed around making a profound difference in the lives of children who face formidable challenges.
We are excited to host our annual Touching the Heart Gala on Friday 20 November.
This is going to be a very memorable evening, with a few experiences and surprises in store as always.
