Toronto Jewish Film Festival: When You Listen to This Song

Toronto Public Library is partnering with the Toronto Jewish Film Festival to make a limited number of complimentary tickets available to select screenings at this year's festival. Simply register for your ticket on Eventbrite, and give your name at the theatre box office for admission.

Based on Lola Lafon’s book, this moving documentary follows the author spending a night in the Anne Frank House, reflecting on Frank’s life and legacy. Through archival footage, evocative montage, and shifting perspectives, the film explores memory, Jewish identity, and antisemitism, re-examining Anne Frank beyond myth to reveal the human story behind the symbol.
