Tormento Seicento Opera Prima with Amanda Forsythe (Italy)

This concert is generously sponsored by Ray Fischer and Louise Perry.
The programme brings together dramatic vocal works, instrumental virtuosity and basso continuo, with music by Monteverdi, Rossi, Merula, Mazzocchi, Strozzi, Cavalli, Kapsberger, Caccini, Ferrari and others. Forsythe’s acclaimed voice meets Opera Prima’s historically informed approach to Renaissance and Baroque repertoire.
