An Evening with Willie Apiata VCBuilding Wellness Taranaki is pleased to be partnering with Symons Group to bring Willie Apiata VC to Taranaki for a special evening of conversation, reflection, and inspiration.
Willie Apiata VC is one of New Zealand’s most respected servicemen and the country’s most recent Victoria Cross recipient.
Today, Willie is widely regarded as one of New Zealand's most respected speakers on leadership, resilience, service, courage, connection and looking after the people around us. Recent wellbeing events around New Zealand have focused on the importance of supporting others through challenging times, staying connected, and recognising that nobody should have to face life's pressures alone.
This event will be particularly relevant for people working in the construction, engineering, transport, logistics and trades sectors, where strong leadership, teamwork and wellbeing are critical to both personal and professional success.
Rather than being a military presentation, the evening will explore the lessons Willie has learned through adversity and how those lessons can help people navigate challenges in their workplaces, families and communities.
