Reminder: The Toolbox Repair Cafe now meets in the Common Ground Hall, 8 Hawdon Pl, Dickson 2602 - right next door to Cafe Stepping Stone.
Note that the Toolbox itself has NOT moved, just the Repair Cafe event.

HOW IT WORKS:
You bring your broken or not-working item(s) along to the Repair Cafe any time between the advertised start and end (though we do encourage you to arrive at least 30 min before we need to pack up). We match you with a volunteer repairer who can hopefully diagnose the problem, and complete the fix for you.
You can bring as many items as you like, but only one item can be in the repair queue at a time, so do prioritize what you'd like us to look at first!
Typical repairs include small electrical (eg lamps, kitchen appliances), knife and secateur sharpening, general repairs (eg gluing back small pieces), IT and phone help (both hardware and software), and fabric repairs (eg hemming, patching) - often more, depending on who's available.
The Community Toolbox Canberra Repair Café runs on the last Saturday of the month between 2pm and 5pm.
