Too Loud for a Saturday: Paytron Saint, Dirt Bloom & El May

Paytron Saint and Dirt Bloom bring the alt rock and grunge, El May plays a solo acoustic set, and Ashley Bird of VPR Audio Club keeps things going between acts.

It's a night of independent bands playing their own songs in a proper grass roots venue. If you like your guitars heavy and your gigs close enough to see the drummer sweat, this is for you. If you just fancy a Saturday out that's better than the pub, it's for you too.

The night runs on a simple loop: an act, a DJ set, and repeat. El May's acoustic set will ease you in before it gets loud. Full set times are in the agenda, and there's more on each act in the line-up below.

Paytron Saint will be playing a mix of their back catalogue and material from their forthcoming album. Dirt Bloom will bring the pop punk energy that is impossible not to move around to.

Dubrek is a fantastic community based venue that does a huge amount for the Derby arts scene.
