PLISGYN is a Welsh experimental art-pop project from Cardiff based Francesca Dimech. Blending electronic textures, alternative rock, psychedelia and sound art with Welsh-language songwriting. The music features live instrumentation, field recordings, samples and unconventional vocal arrangements, exploring the space between organic and electronic sounds.
Intimate vocals, manipulated trumpets, hypnotic repetition, sparse melodies, distorted electronics, unpredictable rhythms and raw, occasionally malfunctioning sounds.
