A Celebration of Toni Morrison in Women's History Month
Doesn't Professor Morrison deserve more time and care to celebrate her legacy? Yes we thought so too - so in March 2027, for Women's History Month we will celebrate the Nobel & Pulitzer Prize winning novelist
Join us for an evening of literature and conversation to celebrate the life, words, and enduring legacy of Toni Morrison.
There will be live readings of Morrison’s work by those named Toni & Tony, featuring selections from Jazz, Beloved, and God Help the Child. Original poetry by Toni Bee will be shared throughout the evening.
Featured guests include three-time Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Tonia Magras, storyteller Tony Toledo, poet Toni Bee & others.
READINGS ✦ PANEL DISCUSSION ✦ DINNER ✦ MUSIC
Our panelists will discuss the importance of Morrison's literary legacy, and the final hour of the evening is dedicated to dinner and mingling. You are encouraged to wear Black and Yellow!
