John Grace
John Grace is a commercial lawyer and amateur photographer. John’s black and white photos of Futuna Chapel have been taken on an old tripod camera using 1866 French lenses. A selection of his photos will be exhibited at the Chapel.
Catherine Hammond
"Against Forgetting: Photographic Archives in Aotearoa"
Catherine Hammond is the director of collections and research at Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland War Memorial Museum. She was formerly Hocken Librarian at the University of Otago Te Whare Wānanga o Ōtākou, and before that head of documentary heritage at Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland War Memorial Museum and research library manager at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki. She co-edited of ‘A Different Light/First Photography of Aotearoa’ (2024).
