Tolkien Event Lucerne 2027Where Fantasy Meets Culture, Science and Adventure
Following the 3rd Tolkien Conference Switzerland 2027, the conversation continues beyond the lecture hall.
While the daytime conference explores Tolkien's works through scholarship and research, the Tolkien Event Lucerne 2027 offers a more relaxed, entertaining and immersive experience open to everyone.
No previous knowledge of Tolkien is required. No specific English knowledge required, it will always be explained in German.
Join conference speakers, artists, musicians, storytellers and fellow visitors for an evening that celebrates imagination in all its forms. Through live performances, storytelling, music, audience participation, visual experiences and special guest appearances, the event explores why fantasy continues to inspire people across generations and cultures.
Guests can look forward to a shared dinner, exclusive previews of current and future Tolkien-related projects, and a programme designed to entertain, inspire and bring people together.
The Tolkien Event Lucerne 2027 marks the public launch of the Luzern Tolkien Portal and the beginning of a broader vision connecting culture, scholarship, creativity and adventure through Tolkien's enduring legacy.
