Rose Hill Preservation & Restoration, Inc. has officially put this historic site back on our TO-DO list! Now we need a few more hands and a few more donations.
If you’re interested in attending a hands on preservation workshop this December, weather permitting, please let us know. You’ll have the opportunity to learn traditional masonry preservation techniques while helping us save another important piece of Rose Hill Cemetery 1840.
RHPR currently has 800 pounds of Otterbein Natural Hydraulic Lime Mortar, ( ENOUGH to totally restore the ADAMS FLANDERS PLOT ) the necessary hand tools, and donated sand from Beechtree Stone Supply ready to go.
Volunteers have already helped preserve the lower portion of this structure through previous workshops. With your help, we can continue the work and save this remarkable site for future generations.
Interested in joining us? Comment below or send us a message. No experience necessary, just a willingness to learn and help preserve RHC1840.
Preservation is learned by doing
We hope to see many as this will be a free event for all !
