Kick off the New Year at our city's authentic German Beer Hall to connect with other daters and have fun doing it! This time we are hosting a MATCHBOX party, where an algorithm will tell you who your most compatible match is at the event.
Over the past two years, Date Philly events have led to many dates and dozens of relationships! We can’t wait for you to be next.
What does the event include? Your ticket includes entrance into the event and MATCHING. We are expecting a lot of matches will hit it off but Matchbox says not every match is made in heaven… will you find yours? Delicious drinks and food are available for purchase as well.
Who is this event for? This event is for men who date women and women who date men. Most guests typically fall between the 30-50 age range. Have an amazing coworker, family member or friend? Sign up together and let Philly know that someone should date them! When purchasing a ticket, you'll be asked to share the full name and email of your friend so that they’ll be added to the guest list. Looking for an LGBTQIA+ dating event instead? How does it work? Date Him Philly and Date Her Philly are Facebook groups where people recommend great singles for each other to date. Our in-person events take this concept into the real world! Guests are encouraged to bring a single friend of the opposite sex, especially if you think someone should DATE THEM. You can purchase a “bring a friend of the opposite sex” ticket, which covers both you and your friend. Solo tickets are also available for purchase! We always aim to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for all guests.
Who’s hosting?
Date Philly events are hosted by the city's only boutique matchmakers, Dara Rahill and Michal Naisteter. Dara created the Date Him Philly and Date Her Philly Facebook groups and then teamed up with Michal to organize events for the community. Learn more below:
Dara Rahill: Dara is a psychologist turned matchmaker and the founder of Dara Rae Matchmaking. Before starting her own local matchmaking firm, Dara was the top recruiting matchmaker at the country's largest matchmaker firm and held a leadership position where she taught matchmakers how to find the best match for their clients. Michal Naisteter: Michal is a professional matchmaker, super connector, and trained sex educator. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Penn State University and a Master of Education in Human Sexuality from Widener University. Through boutique matchmaking, she offers strategy to all daters to help them become magnetic to who they want to attract. She shares wisdom on her Instagram at @michalmatches or visit her site.
Giving Back: In the giving spirit of the holidays, please bring hand warmers, socks, hats, gloves scarves that will be donated to local non-profit, Savage Sisters, to help unhoused individuals in Philly. Check your coat closet for items in good condition. :)
