Led by Chef Scutt Blanc and Rachelle of Haitians of Philadelphia, in partnership with the Free Library of Philadelphia Culinary Literacy Center, participants will learn about the history and cultural significance of Soup Joumou as a symbol of resilience and liberation. Together, we’ll prepare this iconic dish from start to finish and welcome the New Year by sharing a meaningful meal in a warm, community-centered setting.
