Curated by Jenna Miles and Division of Labor and presented by Atelier 111, this Summer Solstice celebration features performances by The Practicing Body (Julie Davis of Bluebook), M O R S K A, Jaimie Henthorn, MG Bernard, and Regan Linton.
This event will begin with a sunset ritual in the plaza at High Fidelity Plaza, 633 17th Street, Denver, and culminate in performances on the 30th Floor.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
Julie Davis - Julie Davis is a prominent Denver-based singer, songwriter, and upright bassist, best known as the frontwoman of the indie/dream wave band Bluebook. She is a deeply influential, highly collaborative pillar of the Colorado music scene. Bluebook has been named the Best Band in Denver of 2026 by Westword and John Moore of The Denver Gazette describes live shows like, “entering a psychedelic dreamscape where it is safe to face the darkness together and where we find we are seen, loved and not alone.”
M O R S K A features songwriter, vocalist, and cellist Martina Grbac and drummer/ percussionist Ross Harada in a new musical venture steeped in their rich history of mesmerizing, deeply layered musical performance, with echoes from their previous projects Land Lines and Matson Jones.
Jaimie Henthorn - A former Black Cube fellow, Henthorn has set site-specific performances within iconic architecture such as the Cadet Chapel at the U.S. Air Force Academy, the Salk Institute, the Bauhaus Haus am Horn, and multiple Mies van der Rohe buildings and has shown with institutions including Crystal Bridges/the Momentary, Denver Art Museum, and Mori Art Museum.
MG Bernard - Mary Grace Bernard (MG, she/they/ugh) is a transdisciplinary artist, educator, advocate, & crip witch. Her practice finds itself at the intersection of performance art, transmedia installation art, art scholarship, art writing, curation, & activism.
Regan Linton - Regan Linton is an actor, director, writer, and theater artist. She is the former artistic director of Phamaly Theatre Company, a preeminent disability-affirmative nonprofit theater in Denver. She is co-director of the award-winning documentary imperfect (2021).
