In this hands-on workshop, participants will transform everyday discarded materials into a miniature room or interior space of their own design. A bottle cap might become a sink. An older maker might become a lamp or table leg. A fabric scrub might become a rug, curtain or blanket. Each finished miniature should represent an identifiable room or interior space and incorporate at least three distinct elements that have been given entirely new purpose. This workshop is recommended for teens & adults. Seating is limited, and registration is required*. For more information, and to register, please call the Trenton Library at (902) 752-5181 or email [email protected]. About the Instructor: Bobbi Savoy Wright has spent the past two years creating miniatures and dioramas. She is an experienced trainer and the founder and Creative Director of Nothing Wasted Thrift & Reuse Centre. Through her workshops, Bobbi invites people to play with possibilities, trust their own ideas and discover new purpose in the ordinary materials others might overlook.
