For more than four decades, Tinsley Ellis has been delivering some of the most powerful and passionate blues music in the world. Celebrated as one of his generation’s greatest electric blues-rock guitarists, Ellis has built a legendary career on fiery performances, soulful songwriting, and a deep connection to the roots of American blues.Born in Atlanta and inspired by the sounds of B.B. King, Muddy Waters, and Howlin' Wolf, Ellis has spent his life honoring the blues while pushing the genre forward with his own unmistakable style. From his early days with Atlanta’s acclaimed blues band The Heartfixers to his celebrated solo career, he has earned a reputation as a world-class guitarist and a relentless performer who brings raw emotion and intensity to every stage.

His acclaimed albums Naked Truth and Labor Of Love showcase a more intimate side of his artistry, blending original compositions with the spirit of legendary Delta blues pioneers. With intricate guitar work, powerful storytelling, and performances filled with hard-earned wisdom, Ellis proves that the heart of the blues is as timeless as ever.
A true road warrior, Ellis has performed across the globe and shared stages with some of the biggest names in blues and rock, earning praise from fans and fellow musicians alike. Whether delivering electrifying guitar solos or the raw honesty of acoustic storytelling, Tinsley Ellis remains a master of his craft and one of the most compelling voices in contemporary blues.
