About this Event
Manthology: A Celebration of Men's Voices
Join us on Sunday 22 November at the Ukrainian Centre, Derby, for the launch of Manthology, a powerful and heartfelt collection of poems, stories and personal testimonies written by men who attend Time2Talk, a local men's mental health group.
For many of these men, this is their first experience of writing poetry, making this collection a truly special celebration of courage, creativity and the power of sharing our stories.
The evening will feature live readings from the book, rap artists, music, comedy and DJ Rev, a much-loved regular at Time2Talk. There will also be a unique Human Library experience, featuring two local men who will share their stories and experiences.
More than just a book launch, this is an evening about breaking down barriers, challenging the stigma surrounding men's mental health and reminding us all that every voice matters. Come along, celebrate these incredible men and discover the power of words, connection and community.
