About this Event
Tim Hort & the Radio Hour bring their distinctive blend of alternative rock, melodic pop, and folk psychedelia to White Lilac for a special holiday concert.
The evening begins with Tamara Vendetta & Michelle Warnecke, teaming up for a 25-minute acoustic opening set. White Lilac audiences may recognize Michelle from Indigo Canyon—here’s a chance to hear her in a different musical pairing, sharing the stage with Tamara.
Chicago songwriter Tim Hort creates songs with memorable hooks, poetic lyrics, and a slightly offbeat imagination. His music has drawn comparisons to Talking Heads, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, and R.E.M.—a compelling invitation for anyone who likes their rock thoughtful, adventurous, and full of personality.
Illinois Entertainer calls Hort “a fine songwriter, and the band grabs the material and runs with it.” His recordings have reached more than 75 radio stations nationwide, with Top 100 U.S. college-radio chart appearances in both 2025 and 2026. His latest release, No Dissociation, continues his exploration of melody, atmosphere, and unexpected turns.
Join us for a holiday-season gathering with music at the center: an acoustic opening set, a distinctive live band, and an intimate room where you can hear every detail.
Bring a friend, settle into a seat, and make a little room in your holiday calendar for discovery.
All ages welcome. Seating is limited.
