About this Event
Join us at Tabletop Board Game Cafe on West 25th for a cozy evening of tiles, drinks and Mahjong of course! Whether this will be the first time picking up a tile, or looking for a table to play with other American Mahjong enthusiasts, we have your seat!
101 Beginner Lesson (capped at 8 players/2 tables)
Never played American Mahjong? We will teach you the basics from the tiles on up in a friendly, supportive environment. No prior experience necessary and you will not need to bring anything. We provide all tiles, mats, racks, and instruction.
- Arrival: If taking a 101, please arrive at 6:15 PM to grab a drink/snack and get settled so instruction can begin promptly at 6:30 PM.
- Cards: Loaner NMJL cards are provided for the class. Want your own NMJL card to take home? Grab one as an Add-On during checkout. We will also have cards available for sale at the event
