Join us for a special intergenerational event in partnership with CANDO Care, taking place in their day care room within the library.
CANDO Care provides day care services for older adults, and we are delighted to bring together young and old to enjoy a reading of Judith Kerr's beloved story, The Tiger Who Came to Tea.
Intergenerational activities offer many benefits, helping to reduce social isolation, encourage meaningful connections, and create opportunities for shared learning and enjoyment across generations.
There may even be a surprise visit from a friendly tiger!
This free event is part of the National Year of Reading celebrations and supports North Northamptonshire Council's Big 50 Vision, bringing communities together through the joy of reading and storytelling.
