Join us for our Tier 1 Suicide Awareness Training, an introductory session designed to help you recognise the signs that someone may be at risk of suicide and understand how to respond safely and compassionately.
This training is part of the Targeted Suicide Prevention Programme, delivered by If U Care Share Foundation in partnership with Darlington Borough Council. Our goal is to empower communities with the knowledge and confidence to make a difference.
Ideal for: Anyone looking to build foundational knowledge in suicide prevention.
This introductory session helps participants recognise early warning signs that someone may be at risk - such as withdrawal, hopelessness, or increased risk-taking.
You’ll learn about the key risk and protective factors that influence mental health and wellbeing, and gain a basic understanding of how to respond to someone in crisis.

This training is exclusively available to individuals who live, work, or provide services within the Darlington Borough Council catchment area. If you do not meet this criterion, we kindly ask that you do not proceed with registration. This ensures the training reaches those it is intended to support within the local community.
