A Sacred Friday Evening at East West, 110 3rd Ave. N, Edmonds WA 98020
On a quiet Friday evening, our beloved store becomes a sanctuary.
We invite you to join us for a special and intimate Tibetan Singing Bowl Sound Bath held right here at East West Books & Gifts — a space that has held prayer, meditation, and spiritual community.
This offering will be guided by alumni of the Atma Buti® Singing Bowl Trainings — dedicated practitioners who carry both skill and reverence in their work with sacred sound. Through the gentle yet powerful vibrations of Himalayan singing bowls, you will be invited into deep rest, inner spaciousness, and subtle energetic renewal.
Release tension
Calm the nervous system
Restore your natural rhythm
Bathe in healing resonance
Because our store setting is cozy and intentional, space is limited. This creates a close, heart-centered experience where sound can truly be felt — not only heard.
Bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, or anything that supports your comfort. Come as you are. Leave lighter.
We look forward to gathering with you in community and bathing in the healing resonance together.

Derek Koo is an engineer, E-RYT 200 yoga instructor, and sound practitioner. Whether he is troubleshooting problems, teaching yoga classes, or guiding sound baths, Derek loves helping others find Balance. He creates soothing sound baths by blending the healing vibrations of gongs, crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, and vocal toning. These sessions are designed to deepen your meditation practice and elevate your relaxation. Trained by Seattle Sound Temple and Atma Buti Sound & Vibrational school, Derek is dedicated to share the power of sound healing with diverse communities.
Barb Hudak has been working with sound for more than 30 years as a professional trumpet player and instructor. Exploring the healing aspects of subtle energy, vibration, and entrainment that can be shaped by sound led her to train with Suren Shrestha and the Atma Buti Sound and Vibrational School. With the use of traditional hand made Tibetan bowls, Barb brings her skills with sound, space, overtones, and personal energy to facilitate restorative balance and healing to individuals and groups.
