The Kent State Jazz Studies Jazz Orchestra and Jazz Combo will be performing at BluJazz in Akron with featured guest artist Paul Tynan, Internationally renowned Jazz trumpeter.
The evening begins at 7pm and will feature original arrangements of Duke Ellington by the students in the Jazz Combo and Duke Ellington's compositions and arrangements by the Jazz Orchestra, all in honor of the 125th anniversary of Duke Ellington's birthday.
